Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Velantio ("we", "us", "our") and the services available at velantio.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Velantio is a software-as-a-service tool that lets you build Amazon affiliate comparison tables and embed them on third-party websites. The Service includes the dashboard at velantio.com, the public embed bundle at velantio.com/v1/e.js, and the WordPress plugin distributed via wordpress.org/plugins/velantio.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Amazon Associates and PA-API credentials

The Service requires your own Amazon Associates account and Amazon Creators API credentials. You are solely responsible for complying with Amazon's Operating Agreement, Program Policies, and Trade Mark Guidelines. We do not warrant that any particular use of the Service complies with Amazon's terms; you must verify your own compliance.

We store your Amazon credential secret encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We never proxy Amazon API calls under our own keys.

4. Pricing and payment

Pricing is published at velantio.com/pricing and may change with at least 30 days' notice for monthly and annual subscriptions.

Launch pricing. During our launch window we offer the Tables plan at discounted rates ($9/month or $89/year) below the standard rates ($15/month or $149/year). Subscribers who subscribe during the launch window retain their launch rate at renewal for as long as their subscription stays active without interruption. Cancellation followed by a fresh subscription is treated as a new subscription at the then-current price.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's terms and acknowledge that we share required transaction data with Stripe.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes or to violate any law
  • Use the Service to promote products that are illegal in your jurisdiction or that violate Amazon's Operating Agreement
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written permission
  • Attempt to access another user's account, data, or tables
  • Run automated bots against our API endpoints beyond the documented rate limits
  • Use the Service to violate the privacy of third parties

We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of this section without refund.

7. Content ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (product titles, images, URLs, table configurations). By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, and serve that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

The Velantio software, branding, and documentation are owned by us and protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

8. Service availability and changes

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from Service downtime, third-party API changes (including but not limited to Amazon's Creators API), or scheduled maintenance.

9. Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that prices fetched from Amazon will be accurate at any given moment, or that your tables will generate any particular level of affiliate revenue.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost affiliate revenue, or loss of data.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time from /dashboard/settings. We may terminate your account for violation of these Terms; in that case any unused portion of an annual subscription is refunded on a pro-rata basis, and any unused portion of a monthly subscription is refunded for the current cycle. On termination, your tables stop serving via embed within 24 hours and your data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
