Creating a table
Themes, columns, drag-reorder, manual products, and how auto-save works.
Make a new table
From the dashboard, hit Tables → New table. Two fields:
- Name — internal, for your own organisation
- Theme — Clean (tabular, minimal), Modern (card layout with shadows), or Editorial (serif, magazine feel)
You can change everything later, including theme.
Add products
The editor has two panes. Left = controls. Right = live preview.
By ASIN
Paste an ASIN (the 10-character Amazon product ID, e.g. B08N5WRWNW) into the search box and press Enter. Velantio calls the Creators API, fetches title, image, current price, rating, and review count, and adds the product instantly.
By keyword
Type free text like wireless mouse. Up to 10 results come back; click + Add on the ones you want.
Manually
Click + Add manually for a non-Amazon product or anything you want to enter by hand. The form accepts title, link URL, image URL, price, rating, and an optional badge.
Reorder and remove
Each row has a drag handle on the left — drag rows up and down to set the display order. Click the trash icon → confirm to remove. The Saved indicator in the top right flashes after every change.
Choose columns
Open the Design tab. Toggle any of: image, title, rating, price, badge, CTA button. The preview updates immediately.
Customise the CTA
The Design tab also has a CTA button text field (defaults to "View on Amazon", max 40 characters). Whatever you put here renders on every product row that has the CTA column enabled.
Themes
Switch the theme from the Design tab. The preview is byte-identical to what your visitors will see — the dashboard and the public embed go through the same renderer.
- Clean — table layout, light borders, dense
- Modern — card rows with subtle shadow, the most "today" look
- Editorial — serif typography, ranked layout, ideal for "best of" posts
Auto-save
Every edit triggers a debounced save 800 ms after you stop typing or dragging. The top right shows Saving… → Saved. If the save fails, you'll see a toast and the indicator turns red — refresh and your changes will be there (the failed batch is preserved client-side until the next successful save).
Refresh prices
Click Refresh in the editor header to re-pull all Amazon-sourced products immediately. Manual products are untouched. The hourly cron does the same thing automatically for any table whose last refresh was more than 24 hours ago.
Plan limits
| Plan | Max tables | Products per table | Analytics history | |---|---|---|---| | Free | 1 | 3 | 7 days | | Tables Monthly | 50 | 25 | 90 days | | Tables Annual | 50 | 25 | 90 days |
Exceeding a limit returns an HTTP 402 with an upgrade prompt.
